Advice needed italy by camper van in December
hi we're an australian couple about to get married and we are planning a 4 week honeymoon driving from Sicily to Milan. It will be our first time driving a camper van in Italy and we'd love receive any tips or useful suggestions on where to go and nice places to stay. We hope you can help us to plan our journey.
Lake Garda (Sirmione especially), Verona, super working ampitheatre & 'Juliet's' house.
Lake Como, beautiful towns, easy lake transport, narrow roads.
We stayed at Lake Garda for a week this year as part of a 2500 mile round trip in VW T2 camper. Visited Mlan for the day. Was a waste of time. Not much to see & graffiti everywhere. Did see the last supper but you must book that in advance.

(If this appears twice it's cause I wrote Garda instead of Como. We stayed at lake Como for a week.
Hi Andrea,
So how did you find the trip? We're planning to take our 3 year old to Italy in a camper for 8 weeks next April, so would be interested to hear your thoughts on driving a camper across Italy.
Regards,
Warwick
We're planning a six week trip in Mid March-end April.

Florence, Venice and Pisa are the bog standard places to visit and there are good sites all near these places.
