For sale is a 1997 'R' reg Mazda Bongo with 85,000kms/53,000 miles on the clock, imported in 2004.

The standard spec is as follows:

* 2.5 litre diesel
* Automatic transmission
* Auto Free Top (electrically powered roof which allows 2 adults to sleep upstairs)
* Air Conditioning
* Electric windows
* CD player
* Integrated side window blinds

In addition to the above, this particular Bongo has the following extras:

* Professionally fitted side kitchen with stainless steel sink and 2-burner gas hob
* Mains hook-up & outlet sockets
* Folding table
* Front and rear window blinds
* Roof bars
* Large drive-away awning

Mechanically, the van is in excellent condition - the 2.5 litre diesel engine always starts first time and runs smoothly with no untoward noises. There have been regular oil and filter changes and parts like brake disks and pads have been replaced whenever the garage has recommended. The only mechanical niggle is that the water temperature gauge only works intermittently (a common issue with Bongos).

The exterior is in very good condition with no dents or scratches and only very minor stone chipping/corrosion spots. Similarly, the wheels haven't been scratched and there is good tread on all the tyres.

Inside, all the equipment works as it should and the kitchen unit and sleeping areas have hardly been used. There are one or two tiny marks on the driver's seat but otherwise, no issues at all.

In addition to evidence of services carried out in Japan, there is a folder of bills and receipts relating to the work that's been done since the van arrived in the UK in 2004. The MOT certificate is valid until 22 April 2010 and the tax expires at the end of July 2010.

Price is £5999 ONO

The Bongo can be viewed in Lytham St. Annes (Lancashire, FY8) and if you have any questions, either email me or call Angela or Tony on 01253 712879
